In 2006 True Alaska Bottling Company (TAB) secured a contract with the City and Borough of Sitka to sell bulk water. TAB was founded in 2002 for the purpose of bottling water. In addition TAB secured a bulk water agreement with the City of Sitka.

True Alaska Bottling conducted bottling operations at the Sawmill Cove Industrial Park until the latter part of 2008. TAB then suspended the bottling operation and placed full emphasis on the sale of bulk water.

True Alaska Bottling is committed to pioneering the sale of bulk water. A plan has been put into effect to provide the infrastructure necessary to accommodate vessels up to VLCC size (70 million gallons).

The City of Sitka has a long term contract with True Alaska Bottling for the sale of bulk water and receives referrals from the city for any third parties that may be interested in purchasing bulk water.
